Ingredients

Scale
  • 10 oz frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
  • 14 oz can marinated artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened to room temperature
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Spinach and Artichokes: Ensure the thawed spinach is squeezed completely dry using a clean kitchen towel or paper towels. This prevents the dip from becoming watery. Chop the drained artichoke hearts into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Create the Creamy Base: In a medium mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Add the sour cream, mayonnaise, and minced garlic. Mix until the base is well-combined and creamy.
  3. Fold in Remaining Ingredients: Add the prepared spinach, chopped artichokes, and grated Parmesan cheese to the bowl. Stir in the salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if you want a little heat. Fold everything together until the vegetables are evenly distributed through the cream cheese mixture.
  4. Chill and Serve: Cover the bowl and refrigerate the dip for at least 30 minutes. This allows the flavors to meld together. Give it a quick stir before serving cold.
