Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup cold brew coffee (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 tablespoons pumpkin puree (canned, not pumpkin pie filling)
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons milk (whole milk or 2% works best)
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup or simple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice (plus extra for garnish)
  • 1 cup ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Prepare the Coffee Base – Fill a tall glass with ice cubes. Pour the cold brew coffee over the ice, leaving about two inches of space at the top of the glass for the pumpkin cream foam.
  2. Step 2: Combine Foam Ingredients – In a small bowl or a glass measuring cup, combine the heavy cream, milk, pumpkin puree, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and pumpkin pie spice.
  3. Step 3: Froth the Mixture – Use a handheld milk frother to whisk the mixture for about 30 to 60 seconds. Continue frothing until the liquid doubles in volume and becomes thick, soft, and foamy. If you do not have a frother, you can shake the ingredients vigorously in a sealed mason jar.
  4. Step 4: Assemble the Drink – Slowly pour the frothed pumpkin cream over the top of the cold brew coffee. The cream should float on top and gradually marble down into the coffee, creating a beautiful visual effect.
  5. Step 5: Garnish and Serve – Sprinkle a tiny pinch of pumpkin pie spice or cinnamon over the top of the foam. Serve immediately with a straw or sip directly from the glass to enjoy the layers.
